The Production
Over an 18-day shooting schedule, Mr. Zambeck has completed principal photography on Nevermore during the summer of 2006. Unlike other low-budget films, Nevermore was shot using state-of-the-art, Hi-Definition digital cameras, a technology made popular by George Lucas and the Star Wars trilogy.
Dayton Street Productions recognizes that the dichotomy of filmmaking is a delicate balance of creativity and profit. The frank truth of this competitive industry is that a film without "name talent" is often doomed to obscurity. DSP has used a substantial portion of the budget to attract recognizable actors to the production in order to increase the likelihood of distribution.
While Nevermore is a thriller at heart, the universal themes within make it appealing to a varied demographic. DSP imagines the film will be easily marketed to adults 25-35 years of age.
